Keys 2 Success

To be successful while in the CIAO Project and life, you must be willing to fully participate and work to improve your life.  Here are some thoughts on what it takes to become successful by CIAO staff:

 1.  Take advantage of every opportunity to volunteer, attend workshops on employment, life skills etc. Also, meet with your TS and other workers involved in your life regularly.

2.   Transition as quickly as possible, time is not on your side, you will age out of most programs and  services will expire at age 21.

3.  Develop clear, measurable and attainable goals that are realistic to you and your situation.

4.  Do call your TS and other workers if you will be running late or will miss the appointment.  Always reschedule appointments to stay on track for your personal progress.

5.  Develop and keep positive relationships that you may be able to utilize as mentors and references.

6.  Most importantly - "An informed youth is an Empowered Youth!"
